No Brasil o ultimate frisbee esta em fase de desenvolvimento e crescimento. O surgimento da Federação Paulista de Disco (FDP) em 2002 proporcionou maior estruturação do esporte no país e, conseqüentemente, possibilidade de organizar torneios internos mais consistentes.
Nesta nova ótica nasceu no mesmo ano o Mundialito de Frisbee. Um torneio realizado anualmente nas areias da praia da Enseada – Guarujá/São Paulo. O torneio tornou-se tradição entre os jogadores brasileiros e muitos jogadores estrangeiros tiveram a oportunidade de participar deste evento.
Em 2010, realizaremos o 6º Mundialito de Ultimate Frisbee e seguindo a tradição a praia da Enseada será novamente o palco deste torneio. Durante os dias 13, 14 e 15 de novembro a praia será invadida por jogadores de ultimate com muita sede de layouts e diversão.
Além disso, à partir deste ano nosso evento faz parte do calendário oficial da BULA (Beach Ultimate Lovers Association) http://ffindr.com/en/event/6-mundialito-de-ultimate-frisbee.

Ultimate Frisbee is growing and developing in Brazil. In 2002, the Federação Paulista de Disco (FDP) was formed and has been providing more structure for this sport in Brazil and also creating the possibility of organizing more consistent tournaments. In the same year as the formation of the federation, the Mundialito de Frisbee was born. This is a tournament that happens every year on Enseada Beach – Gurujá, São Paulo, Brazil. This tournament has become a tradition among Brazilian players and a lot of international players have also had the opportunity to participate in this event. The 6th Mundialito de Ultimate Frisbee will happen in 2010, following the tradition of the event, on Enseada Beach– Gurujá, São Paulo, Brazil. During November 13th, 14th and 15th, the beach will be taken over by Ultimate players that are very eager for layouts and to have fun!
